4 seniors, we were placed on the 3rd floor. I would suggest a ramp for elders.. But it was so nice.. Renz the driver was great even the staff. All friendly and honest.

Good value for your money. They had great music during our stay.

We appreciated having more than one pillow per person on the comfortable bed. The restaurant served good food, which was convenient after our flight was canceled due to weather and we ended up staying for 2 extra nights. (Having salad options on the menu would have made the experience better, especially since fresh, organic greens are abundant on the island.) We loved that the hotels in Basco show empathy towards their guests when they get stuck on the island through no fault of their own by offering a 50% discount on their extended stay.

We didn't get the double room with balcony that we booked because we found out that there was only one such room in the hotel as opposed to the 3 being offered on booking.com. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any advice from the hotel or booking.com; furthermore, no one followed up with us on our request to check if it was possible to be moved to said room the following night. The service levels and the taste of the food varied slightly depending on the staff on duty. Also, it looks like their hours of operation are somewhat flexible on rainy days and during the holiday season. :-)

A very relaxing stay, the garden is such a serene place and the food at the restaurant are so comforting, the staff are friendly and helpful. My husband and I even enjoyed our late night TV as they got cable, for the price of the room it was a good deal.
