DUCK INN AND RESTAURANT

24 hour restaurant and bar with good food, nice staff and clean rooms.

The area wasn’t in the nicest and or safest areas but hotel had security and we parked car across street with no issues. P150 for 24 hours.

Well, i just needed decent place to sleep 5 hours and take shower before My Si-kat transportation to Puerto Galera departs. Almost perfect for that, affordable, basically tidy and near where bus leaves.

Shower pressure was not that great, but just ok.

The Duck in has beautiful restaurant/Sports bar with good food, atmosphere and rugby balls and pictures around the place.

The Duck in was old and clean. It smelled a bit musty but it was a spur of the moment place to stay, the price per night was higher than even nicer places but it worked out well for us.

A room

Nothing

Good facilities and location great. Good for ex-pats, much better than other hotels close by.

The waitress got confused over meal orders. Fish and chips came without any chips as I did not add as a side order. Charging for bottled water in the room seems petty on top of the other charges. All other hotels I have ever stayed in provide two free bottles. If they feel they need to charge, they should uplift the room rates

Bar and international sport coverage

Multiple stairs only real detractor.
