Ras Kitao Holiday Villa

Prezzo alto rispetto all"offerta.Le immagini mostrano una piscina ed una struttura pulite ma non è assolutamente così. Il vero nome della struttura è VILLA ZIWA LA NDOVU. Il wi-fi funziona solo piano terra. Nonostante varie foto di mail che confermavano il contrario il proprietario ha preteso e stolcherizzato fino a quando non gli abbiamo dato 2000 scellini per il viaggio dall'aeroporto che doveva essere gratuito. Ha inviato un link al ragazzo sul posto per il pagamento di 599$ che ovviamente mi sono rifiutata di pagare perché il costo esatto era di 360$. Il ragazzo che poverino non ci capiva nulla continuava a dire NO Problema. Gli ho dovuto persino dare i soldi anticipatamente per latte e caffè perché il ragazzo presente non aveva soldi. Le pantofole di cui parlano sono marroni ed usate. La piscina sporca. Un solo asciugamano per tutto. Alla fine mi sono vista accreditare 385 $ perché il loro metodo mi ha preso il 5% di interessi. Credo sia una truffa ma oramai era troppo tardi per pagare un'altra struttura. È da togliere da booking. Il prezzo alto non è neanche lontanamente quello giusto.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I believe it's a scam. I booked 4 nights during the Lamu Yoga Festival. Boat transfers from the airport were included. I was told a boat captain would be waiting for me when I landed but no one was there so I called the villa. A man told me he'd try to get ahold of the captain, which he was unsuccessful in doing. No plan B was suggested, the man was unbothered that I was stranded. I had to find my own boat to get over to Manda and then a boda to get to the villa. But the location of the villa was unclear so I called the man again. He was annoyed that I was asking for directions and kept saying "it's by the lighthouse". Nobody knew what that meant. Half a dozen locals were trying to help me figure out where this place was. Finally someone took a guess and got me there. It's almost at the tip of Manda, as inconvenient as you can get location-wise. I rang the bell on the gate and an elderly man came to let me in. He spoke little to no English and seemed confused about me being there. I was brought into a room and given water and that was it. I felt unsafe immediately. Then I get a call from a random man telling me he's waiting outside Ras Kitao for me and he's wondering where I am. I told him I was there, that I had been let in and brought to a room. He said it wasn't possible b/c he was waiting for me. Then I felt REALLY unsafe. I needed to get over to Shela to so I asked another random man who spoke no English if he could take me to the seafront to get a boat. He communicated that he would call a boat. I stood on the beach in the blazing hot sun for nearly 30 minutes with no boat. I ended up calling the earlier boda driver and he helped me get a boat further down the beach. Once on the Shela side I found myself a new place to stay, went back to Ras Kitao to collect my bags and left. Luckily I hadn't paid. Save yourself the stress and just don't stay here.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful 5-bedroom house. It was worth every coin! The home was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing all the comforts we needed. The location was perfect, and the amenities were top-notch. The host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, making sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

It's a great location, quiet and serene. Rooms were spacious and clean. The staff and food were incredible. Paul was awesome together with the two gentlemen.

If they could provide TVs in rooms it would be wonderful. Wifi, too. The pool needs cleaning.
