The Montagu Coach House

The hostess, Louise, was gracious and engaging and made me feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, overlooking a charming English garden with a small swimming pool and a dramatic background of the mountains. The room was pristine, as was the bedding and towels. It was also very good value for money. I am sold on The Coach House - I will definitely return and recommend it to family and friends.

This was a little gem in Montagu. Beautiful little quaint garden.Comfortable bed . Friendly host.

The property was situated near the town city and an easy walk to the restaurants and supermarket. The pool and patio area were great for relaxing .

Host mixed up our booked dates so we were not expected at our agreed arrival time. We were then asked to confirm our reservation by another member of staff as other guests were expected. The accommodation was paid in advance and the arrival time was also confirmed some weeks before with the host. We had a very pleasant stay but it could have been a disappointment except for some good luck. The apartment is in a good position with safe street parking and lots of friendly neighbours.

Lovely decor, peaceful and relaxing. We especially liked the private courtyard outside our room. What a great place to read a book (from the varied choice of books thoughtfully provided in the room) we only wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. Next time we would definitely try to stay longer.
