Hotel Il Cavaliere Nero

I am sorry to say that the only thing that was decent about this hotel was the staff — at the check-in we were warmly greeted by a friendly receptionist that was eager to assist and explain everything to us, and we also recieved a free bottle of water for the room.

The room: The room stank of bleach to such an extent that we had to leave the balcony doors fully open for 2 hours and leave the room for that time, because it was absolutely impossible to breathe… Even so, we weren’t able to sleep well and I woke up during the night feeling my throat inflamed and coughing due to the lingering smell… This went away only several hours after leaving the room… Moreover, there was a hair on the bathroom floor and the towels were not really towels, but rather resembled tablecloths and had some stains (both bleach and just old dirt). The location: The whole area around looked very sad, with fences of huge resorts blocking the sea view and half abandoned buildings on the other side of the street here and there… The hotel itself unfortunately doesn’t really match the pictures. The entrance to the hotel is not visible from outside as it is obscured by the restaurant. We arrived around 11pm after a long day looking forward to rest well at a small seaside hotel close to the airport — our flight was the next morning. This stay was a terrible experience. We wanted to leave this place as soon as we entered, but couldn’t book any other hotel close by at such a late hour so we had to endure…

L’accoglienza è stata davvero familiare, anche se il nostro arrivo è avvenuto oltre l’orario previsto a causa di alcuni contrattempi durante il viaggio. Il parcheggio si trova all’interno del cortile della struttura e il proprietario si è subito premurato di trovare un posto anche per la nostra auto, nonostante il ristorante fosse al completo. La camera era spaziosa e confortevole, il bagno di dimensioni adeguate e, cosa molto apprezzata, dotato di finestra! Non abbiamo potuto gustare la colazione per via di un impegno mattutino, ma l’esperienza complessiva è stata più che positiva. Consigliamo questo albergo a chi cerca un ambiente accogliente, curato e gestito con grande disponibilità.

Hotel buono nel complesso personale gentile camera ampia pulita. Disponibilità di parcheggio auto. Ottimo il ristorante
