Great host, anything wasn't a problem. Very knowledgeable of Belfast on where to go and what to see.

The host let us do the check-in 1 hour before arrival time which we didn´t use.

To begin with, I was quite surprised to see the numerous positive reviews this property had received, as our experience was far from satisfactory. The general state of the house, particularly the kitchen, was quite dirty. Despite the booking specifications mentioning that breakfast was included, we found that it consisted of several opened cereal boxes, an opened bottle of milk, expired oats, expired snacks, and an opened spreadable jar with crumbs inside. The dirty condition of the kitchen and the quality of the provided food made us feel uncomfortable and unable to trust consuming those items. As a result, we had to purchase our own breakfast. There was also a finished jar of instant coffee. In the kitchen, there were many pairs of dirty shoes and it was used to store a bike. The bin was not emptied in 3 days. The bathroom, which is shared with the host and other guests, was also filthy (pictures attached), and the towels provided had an unpleasant odor. The room itself had a terrible bed and a strong smell of damp clothes. The bedsheets were dirty with stains, and the floor was covered in dust and crumbs. On one occasion, we found the owner sleeping in the living room, which prevented us from accessing the kitchen to cook our microwave meals. Such behavior does not create a comfortable environment for guests. It honestly felt like sharing a flat with university students. While I understand that this property is a part of someone's home, it is evident that it is not adequately maintained for accommodating guests. This is just a person doing the bare minimum to be able to charge people for an empty room. The minimum cleaning standards were not met. Additionally, upon our arrival, we were disturbed by the installation of a fence on the main door, just below our window. The noise prevented us from resting, which was particularly challenging as we had been traveling overnight. Again I do not understand the reviews on this property.

Lovely stay and a great location short walk from the SSE arena

One step above a Youth Hostile. I reviewed comments and feel I was misled. Did not realize many reviews were old. This was not anything like a Bed and Breakfast I have stayed at anywhere in the world. This was simply a bed and a bathroom. That’s it. Host was nice enough. I am surprised this made Bookings.com’s standards. Host was very helpful on transportation options.

Pretty much everything. For what I paid this was a real bummer. Not a great area. This was really a $25 bed in a room with an outdated shared bathroom. Should have been $50 a night max.
