Super location ,we also had a river tour in the morning and sun set tour booked through the hostel.Host made us very welcome and helped all the way. People we met there made it even better.

The place is very calm and peaceful located right on the backwaters. The host Rahul was very welcoming and helpful. Best stay for solo traveller's.

The owner is very respectable, I loved the concept of the hostel, there is anything you might need. And I stayed in a laddies room, so it's easy even to have a company for a tour or conversation, but if you look for it. Food opportunities nearby, private village area

I was missing in the room: mosquito plug, bed table or shelf, better to sleep in trousers and long sleeve. I was on some holidays and parties, so it was booked completely. But the owner managed it all. Can't say I was exited by the attitude from Mathew, he helps with all, but was constantly busy with asking Instagram and what's up from the girls))), anytime repeated "ask him, not me" (the owner), thought it was he who checked me in and took money for the tour as well. I find it weard,as I worked as a guide and guest relations about 10 years .

The staff are very helpfu and friendly,they organise things like boating trips and visits to the beach,the hostel is clean and comfortable and very close to the backwater canal,

Its a little far from the town centre its about 4km by the auto or you can get on the local bus but they dont run so often or its walkable in 45mins,
