Salama Apartments Begonia Street

What I liked: The Space & Value: The apartment is incredibly big and spacious. Even without a garden, the indoor area is more than enough room for a family, and the price point was very fair. Reliable Power: The solar backup system was a lifesaver during Lusaka’s common load shedding. It kept us powered up when the grid went down. Helpful Host: Although finding the house was a challenge, the host was very responsive and guided us to the location. The key handover was smooth and well-coordinated. Location & Safety: It’s located in a nice, quiet, fenced neighborhood near a shopping center, which felt very secure.

What I didn't like: Maintenance Issues: The apartment needs significant attention. All three bathrooms had individual plumbing problems; some had no running water to the bathtubs, while others had no water at the faucets. AC Problems: The living room AC was broken, and the unit in our bedroom leaked enough water to create a puddle on the floor in a view hours. Safety Suggestion: As we are traveling with curious children, we had to be very vigilant because the solar battery and settings are exposed. I would recommend the host hide or screen these off to keep them out of reach of little hands. Navigation: It was quite difficult to find the house initially without the host's direct guidance.

The serenity

Finding the place was difficult. They need to make it easier for guests to find.

Accommodation was cancelled by the host without even notifying us in time of the cancelation

Close to a mall, perfect.

The doors don’t close unless you lock them. On Friday night there was loud music throughout the night.

Location is near shopping malls, bars and restaurants. Loadshedding wasn't much of an issue due to a good power backup. Kemo and his staff were very accommodating and helped resolve any issues that cropped up quickly.

That fridge had to be kept off during loadshedding. Lack of bedside lamps.

The apartment pictures are from years ago they need to be updated and the apartment needs updating they is rast in-between the shower the toilet seat it broke and internet kept not working but it is a nice apartment also at the end the son to the owner wasn't very nice not understanding the airport transport was running late, we had to wait outside with our bags

It was run down. The property advertised on booking.com was not the one that I went to. It was dirty. The furniture was broken and the place has a strange smell.
