Very beautiful location in the forest and the family looking after us super nice and attentive. They were happy to accommodate my special dietary needs. It’s a sanctuary away from all the noise and hussle and right next to the hot springs . We loved the bath ! Massages are available at the property.

This place is so lovely. It is so lush and so relaxing! If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely stay here again. It’s very simple but it’s the best deal we have seen in Bali for the price! The owners and staff are so wonderful and the room is spacious and the food isn’t that bad. This place is a 10 out of 10 as far as I’m concerned.

The water pressure isn’t great, so even though the bathtub is beautiful, it probably would take a long time to fill it. We didn’t care. There are lots of stairs, which is good to know if you can’t do stairs very well. They didn’t bother us.

without a hesitation i can say that it was one of my favorite stays of all time. we spend only one night there, and i am still trying to figure out how to come back there during our indonesian adventure! firstly, the location of this place is absolutely outstanding. you are able to immerse yourself in the jungle, pure nature, with no doubt its a perfect match for relaxation and comfort. close to the natural terms. one of them you have in your own bathroom! the room was beautifully maintained, with a nice decor, good AC, everything felt so fresh and inviting. we had a really satisfying dinner, the restaurant has a great vibe, the meals were well prepared. and most importantly, you will surely feel welcome there, as the family that runs the stay left us with the warmest feeling. thank you for this short but absolutely memorable stay!

Dit verblijf was voor ons een absoluut hoogtepunt in Indonesië. Het gastgezin is zo ontzettend lief en gastvrij, we hebben ons hier echt welkom gevoeld. Niets was teveel moeite en ze deden er alles aan om ons verblijf fantastisch te maken, en dat is meer dan gelukt. De tuin is prachtig groen met overal watertjes en grenst direct aan de warme bronnen, heerlijk om even te ontspannen. De kamers zijn netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien, met douchewater dat rechtstreeks uit de bronnen komt. We hebben beide avonden bij het guesthouse gegeten en de nasi die door de man van Ayu werd gemaakt, was de lekkerste die we ooit hebben gehad. Hij bracht ons ook naar Lovina en een prachtige tempel in de buurt, als taxi, wat heel handig en fijn was. Zelf werd ik even ziek en Ayu stond direct klaar met zorg en aandacht, zo ontzettend lief. Ook de massage in de tuin was een aanrader, helemaal ontspannen met het geluid van de natuur en het stromende water. Heel onze reis in Indonesië zijn we nergens zo warm ontvangen als hier. Dit guesthouse heeft officieel 2 sterren, maar voor ons was het absoluut meer waard. Dankjewel voor deze onvergetelijke ervaring family Ayu!

Amazing location, surrounded by nature and just next to the entrance of the holy hot springs. Lovely family running the property. Delicious dinners are available at the restaurant.

Notre séjour a été parfait car l’auberge est au milieu de la nature et juste à côté des eaux chaudes thermales. On s’y sent bien et la famille est absolument adorable

On a adoré cet endroit et adoré l'accueil qui nous a été fait!! Une bienveillance et une gentillesse incroyable... Nous avons super bien dormi, profité des massages proposés par notre hôte ainsi que la sortie dauphins qu'on a vraiment kiffé!!! Franchement un des meilleurs guest house de Bali!

The property is in a beautiful Jungle location. Authentic and therefore with all of the flora and fauna you would expect to find in the Jungle. The rooms are comfortable, good size, bed suited me (with the addition of a mosquito net), and for the price I have zero complaints. Right next to Banjar Holy Water Hot Springs, which were great and affordable. But, the crowning glory, along with the location, is the warm hospitality and genuine care of Ayu and her lovely family. They made me feel like I was a special visitor to their home and for that alone it competes with the fancy 4/5 star hotels I occasionally stay in when travelling The food was fresh and nicely prepared and again service was exemplary. WiFi worked better than in many areas of the UK. If you want to experience the real thing when visiting Bali, this place is it. If you’re looking for all of the mod cons, then this is probably not the right location for you. Some of the negative reviews about Pondok are ludicrous. People complaining about Mosquitoes for instance. It’s the Jungle, the mighty Jungle after all. Xxx Simon

Based on realistic expectations, I would not fault the property. Ayu is hoping to renovate the rooms when possible, because they need a little updating.
