CZIt was one ofthe nicest stays I've ever been to. Manola was welcoming and extremely helpful, she helped us come up with activities for our toddler and recommended places to eat. The building and the rooms are beautiful, the garden amd the views stunning. Definitely recommended. If we're ever going back to thee region, we're coming back to stay here. Local, homemade breakfast was a cherry on top.
DKWe loved everything about our stay at La Rocca, Camporgiano! The warmth and kindness of the hostess and staff made us feel completely at home. We were treated to an informative and personal tour of the castle, learning about its rich history and the family behind it. The home-cooked meals, made with fresh, local produce, were a highlight—sharing them with other guests created a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The town’s market and the ceremony honoring local farmers were wonderful, and we enjoyed the folk music and dancing that added to the festive spirit. The surrounding area is beautiful, with scenic hikes, castles, and caves to explore. It truly felt like a perfect getaway.

The air condition is NOT working well, It is ONLY a de-humidity system! Prepare to sweat at night if it is hot outside, as it was in our case in the middle of July.

GBThis is an exceptionally beautiful old villa, newly renovated to a sympathetic and high standard, set in the grounds of the medieval castle, above the small historical town, with stunning views in all directions of the mountains. The rooms are huge, with antique furniture, very comfortable with no expense to detail spared. The staff (owners of the villa) are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delightful with homemade produce. The location is perfect to explore the Garfagnana. This is a special place to stay.
