We were blown away by the quality of the room when we first walked in. The owner contacted us to ensure we had checked in safely and provided a huge amount of information on Heraklion. We felt safe in the apartment and well looked after. The area is fantastic for exploring Heraklion whilst being quiet in the evenings. The kind gifts left by the owner made our honeymoon extra special and we will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends and family.

It was quite difficult to find a cab to service our family of 6 but that is not the property owner’s fault!

The location is great. The apartment has a modern look; the washer was great.

I needed two beds and two bedrooms, but the apartment had only 1 bed and a pull-out sofa. This was not an arrangement that I expected when I made a reservation. One of us had to sleep on a pull-out sofa. There was no microwave. The stove was so complicated that it took a while to figure out how to set it to boil water, and there were no instructions for it. The description says that it has a dryer but there was none. Also, the lights are very modern but too complicated to handle. It would be nice if someone would meet us to explain how things work. One TV set was set to Greek, and the host couldn't help us change it to English. The internet connection for the laptop did not work, and there was nobody to fix it. I'd never had this problem before. Our reservation included breakfast, but the literature in the apartment did not include this information. The breakfast cafe was about 7-10 minutes away and not available when we were leaving. We did not use the breakfast in the two days we stayed because of poor communication and the host didn't offer anything to compensate for it. Most importantly, the host was not very helpful and had a rather unpleasant way of communicating. I would not recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay, everything you need is already kept in the suit. Extremely hassle free checkin. Very close to city center, heraklion port, bus stops, restaurants. 100% recommended for a stay in the place. I wish i could stay little more. Felt like home ❤️
