Peaceful, clean and cosy double room with ensuite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless! Breakfast room was lovely, with tea and coffee available through out my stay. Very kind and friendly owner. Would highly recommend.

Great property close to the old town. Super accommodating when I arrived into Margate early and let me get into my room. Lovely stay in Margate for a great price, would totally recommend staying here

An ideal place to stay in the historic centre of Margate. A short walk from pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops. An ideal place for birding the sea-watch points at Foreness Point and North Foreland. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The hostess was very helpful and charming. Breakast was served in a kitchenette next to my room, where I was able to sit and eat at the breafast bar with my laptop linked to the free wifi.

Being in an old town centre parking is tricky. If you're lucky enough to find a free space in the street outside that's great but I had to use the public Trinity Square car park just over the road, which was £8.50 per day. My room wasn't ensuite so the loo was either down a few steps or on the floor above, where there was a well-equipped bathroom/shower room.

We had a wonderful stay. Compact room with smart, super clean facilities and really close to the old town. Lovely host. Tasty breakfast. Brilliant value. We'll be back! Thank you.

This is a finely restored old townhouse on a square right next to the old town area and all the stuff people come to see in Margate. My host was there on my arrival and let me into the room early - great! The room itself was lovely - immaculate really. I also appreciated the small kitchen next door with its selection of teas and coffees. Breakfast was help yourself - which I prefer - cereals, toast, jams, etc.

This is a house not a hotel, so the walls are quite thin and the varnished floorboards in the hallway carry sound. As I get up early anyway it was no problem for me, but some might be woken earlier than they would choose by the sound of departing guests.
