Hemsby Chalet Get Aways on Seadell Chalet Park

Managed to get in 15 minutes early, received a message with the lock box code, which is located by the front door, got the key and we were in.

Nothing.

I liked where the chalet was situated, and that it was close to amenities i.e. beach, arcades, places to eat

I know, the saying goes that you get what you pay for, and i thought the chalet would look as nice as the photos, and i did expect some form of comfort. The shower was running cold, so i contacted the host, who kindly told me to pull a cord by the sink, which i did, but still ran cold, so we just used the bath. And when flushing the loo it sounded like a plane taking off, because of dated cistern The single bed was like lying on a bed of springs, although in a june review the host said the mattress had now been changed. The double bed mattress was uncomfortable,and the springs made a noise every time you turned over. living room furniture wasn't comfortable to relax on. The kitchen was lacking utensils such as baking trays and tins, cheese grater. The Television and wifi were great though. I'm sure the host will say that if we'd messaged him things would have been put right, but I don't go on holiday having to continually message the host. I hope my view is seen as constructive criticism, so that these things can be sorted for future guests

Hot water supply in shower was not reliable.

Good place for me, My wife, and grandkids Sam was very helpful anything any questions we had he sorted left my keys at the Chalet, Sam phoned me and is going to send them to me,very happy

Peace and quiet relaxing break. The shop on site the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful

I needed an oxygen bottle to be delivered to site which could not be delivered after 16.00 which was my admition time. The man in the shop requested £50 charge to except delivery on my behalf. This was extortionate and i decided not pay. I required the oxygen for a lung condition very poor service and attitude.

Great location, close to shops and arcades etc

Unfortunately the beds were quite uncomfortable.. Springs poking out the mattresses in all the beds even the children noted the springs. Was OK for a couple night stay

Parking outside chalet was good

Very out dated, uncomfortable arm chairs, mattress awful, spiders everywhere, toilet very strange at an angle so if you are on the larger side you feel like your wedged against wall and sink, shower head could do with replacing, wifi rubbish tv kept losing signal
