New Town Hall Bunkhouse

Lucked out having a 6 bed dorm to myself! Very comfortable bed. How shower. Fully equipped kitchen! Couldn’t have asked for more.

It is a lovely, clean, and well equipped bunkhouse that exists to support social and economic development in Whithorn. Public space was a good size making it easy and comfortable to meet fellow travellers.

I couldn't find a bottle opener! I was in room 4, the resident below woke me with her snoring. Too late to do anything about either soundproofing or snoring. That is hostel life!

Very clean and nice, good bike parking and nice location

The price.....its very expensive for a bunkhouse, for £45 I would expect a B&B

A bit cold-ish, could have some decorational touch Some place to put your stuff on would be nice too (only has a chair to do so)

We stayed for a week and had plenty of time to explore the local museum (you have to do the roundhouse tour), the Isle of Whithorn, the cliffs with the singing seals, Wigtown, the beach at Garlieston... all on foot and by public bus. No mass tourism, everyone is super friendly and accommodating.

The kitchen was great plenty of plates and cutlery and appliances. The room was fine.

Not a lot of places to eat at the village so better come prepare with food. One restaurant was open but were fully booked.
