"Idyllic, relaxing and comfortable"

Brucefield B&B is beautiful historic house with peaceful tree lined garden. Oru and Anita were there to greet us and couldnt have been more friendly and thoughtful. Free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were avaiable in the lounge area as well as snacks. Free soft drinks avialble in the fridge in our room. Excellent variety of tea and coffee products in our room as well. Our room was large and immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The shower had excellent water pressure and the bath robes were a lovely touch. Breakfast was top notch with smoked salmon and the famous local Arbroath smokie on offer. It was a beautiful 20 minute walk along a costal path into town and good transport links to train and bus station. The lovely coastal walk to Auchmithie is a few minutes away too. Oru and Anita clearly put a lot of effort into anticipating their guests needs, with sun loungers, garden games, dvd library and prefilled music USBSs. Couldn't recommend their B&B more highly and genuinely felt more like a small luxury hotel than what you expect from a B&B.

"Nothing too much trouble"

The facilities, the little extras provided such as nibbles including wine and beer. Great coffee and tea options. Good breakfast and given choices and will give you different quantities of favourite food. It was lovely and quiet and it was possible to hear birds singing. This might be a disadvantage for some as it is a bit of a walk in to town but not for us as we had a vehicle. Plenty of parking.

Clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The hosts were attentive and friendly and the food very good with generous extras such as drinks and snacks. Parking was also good.

Location and view from the room not the best.
