GFAmazing place! Everything is beautiful! The bungalow is really nice and clean. We were in a calm and relaxing space in the middle of the forest.. The private one was really nice. We only booked one night but we wished we could have stayed a little longer. It was the best hotel we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Talking about the safari, they offer safaris. Saw a lot of elephants. The guide knows everything. I recommend it.. 10/10
FRThe staff were extremely attentive and friendly! Booking the safari through the hosts was very easy and the safari itself was amazing! Not only did we see around 50 different types of amazing animals with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, we also had a delicious breakfast with a cup of tea before heading out to see one of the many lakes in the national park. It was everything we could have hoped for and more! When we did the 4 hour safari, it meant we got a chance to visit the elephant transport station in the afternoon, which was only a 3 minute tuktuk ride from the property! There were so many amazing features to this place, but one of the best was the delicious home cooked meals from the hosts.

DEWhere to start... We had a wonderful stay! Our host Ravidu is a very kind man. We will be forever grateful for the special memories created there. His wife cooked us delicious traditional Sri Lankan food every night. Thank you so much ☺️ The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. I would 100% recommend booking a safari through Ravidu, he partners with a guide who has years of experience. The safari guide was knowledgeable about the animals and different species we saw on the safari. He was very respectful of the wildlife and drove slowly through the park unlike other jeeps... We were very happy that he took us to quiet places when we were the only ones as the park can sometimes get crowded. If you are going on a safari in Udawalawe you should book with him!!
FRWe really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House! It is located about 5 minutes from the entrance of Udawalawe Park and is in a beautiful location among the trees. The manager Ravidu and his wife were very friendly and organized a wonderful safari for us to the park. We saw over 50 elephants and other animals, so we had a great time. Our room at the hotel was large, comfortable and very clean. We also had a lovely dinner at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to do a safari in Udawalawe.
