Suuel Hotel Adults Only

Très belle expérience dans cet hotel qui est tout récent , belle architecture avec un choix des materieux magnifique. L'accueil est très chaleureux , le petit déjeuner est SUPERBE avec des produits frais et de bonne qualité , le restaurant avec son équipe internationale et plus que recommandé: BELLE CARTE , BONNE CUISINE .

El lugar es hermoso y encima nos dieron un up grade al llegar por lo que pudimos disfrutar de un balcón terraza espectacular.

El baño incorporado le quita privacidad pero no es tan grave

the hotel is just beautiful. you walk in and fall in love immediately. the design of the building and the furniture are supre authentic, simple and chic ate the same time. pacific station, the restaurant with outside tables will fix tou the best brunch from punta zicatela, steps away from tour beautiful rooms. I got lucky enough to get an upgrade in my room, ended up at the terrace suite, and what a treat that was. Comfortable bed, smooth sheets, a gorgeous shower with its own window. The room is super spacious, with windows souranding it entirely. A nice little balcony and the pool just outside, made me feel like I was in my own Villa. location is gold, just outside of busy zicatela, 15 min walk to the center.

The hotel is beautiful and food is sensational!

Everything is very pretty, spacious, clean and the personell is friendly. The rainshower is amazing. The food tastes well. Suuel is very close to the Beach (5 min Walk).

In total, Suuel is too expensive for what you get. The Basics: If you need silence to Sleep well, this is not your Place. Suuel seems to be located near a Club or pub that plays loud music until early in the Morning. That Place also seems to be having barbeques which makes the rooms facing the Place smell smoky at all Times. Also, the bed was too soft for our taste and the pillows way too thick, at least for our necks. You should not expect a pool area where you will want to spendet time, the pool is rather a small tub. I would not advertise it as a pool. However, this is not decicive for the rating since I personally did not Plan to make use of the Pool - just to inform potential guests who might be more interested in an actual pool. The Details: Beware that some items on the Menu are excluded from the breakfast Option for guests. The explanation on the First Morning on what is and what is not included seemed a Little Cheap given that the Price difference between the available and non-available items was Minor. During our entire stay, the coffee machine was Not working. However, no gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience was offered. From a Service Perspektive - which is Part of the stay if it is as expensive - it would have been easy to offer some extra courtesy. To be fair, drip coffee and cold Crew was available (however less Strong than an Espresso and too sour for some people). On the last day of our stay, there were noisy construction works on the property until 11pm. According to the smell in our room, they were related to the plumbing. We understand that some things need to be fixed asap. However, again, the inconvenience was neither Communicated nor compensated in any way. When asked for Hygiene bags to dispose of feminine products, we were provided with two large trash bags, which made me feel uncomfortable and misunderstood. In total, unfortunately, I cannot recommend Suuel.

We really loved our stay at Suuel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was so bright, clean and spacious, the design is sensational and the breakfast was perfect! The hotel is quite new and you can really see and feel it everywhere. The design and architecture is absolutely fantastic! The location is a bit off the beaten path of busy La Punta which we loved!

Nothing really :) Just two little recommendations: A bit more light in the room would be great, so you can read in the evening. And a small little juice included in the breakfast would‘ve brought it to the next level! :)

Puerto Escondido was our last stop in Mexico, before our return home. We wanted to relax and enjoy the sun, after the bustling cities of Oaxaca and Mexico city. We didn't really manage to do that and I'll tell you more about that below. But there are things we enjoyed here, of course. First of all, the girls at the reception were just adorable - helping us with everything we needed, sending us food & drinks recommendations via whatsapp and finding us a scooter to rent for a few days. The design of the place is out of this world. The geometry of the lobby and the simplicity of the rooms, it's really really nice and instagramable. The hotel is quite close to the beach, about 7 minutes by foot. It has a pool on the rooftop that I recommend, it's better and cleaner that the little pools in some rooms - we had one with a pool and nobody cleaned it once and it was freezing cold. So better get a normal room and head upstairs as their rooftop is sunny and almost always empty.

A lot of things could have been better and I really hope someone is reading these reviews and does something about it. I'll start by saying that my feedback is based on our experience and how much money we have payed /night. And when you give a few hundred bucks, it's normal to have some expectations. First of all, there was no hot water at the shower. It's true that Puerto Escondido is always hot, but during the nights, if you want to (maybe) wash your hair, it does feel chilly and our shower was missing a wall so it was basically outside. The pool in our room had really cold water - not heated and never cleaned during our stay. We stayed in a room where sun was never beating over our terrace, or pool so we couldn't use it so much, we mostly just paid for it. Probably the worst part was that you can't have any rest in this hotel. Our room was right above the restaurant/bar, facing the street and we could constantly hear noises - if you wanted to take a nap at lunch, can't do because the street is always busy - dogs are barking, cars are honking, people are passing. Every morning at 7am everyone from the hotel's staff starts working and you could hear them bumping, laughing, moving around. That was a real bummer! And if you get breakfast included in your room rate, well .. the breakfast doesn't include everything in the menu, it actually leaves aside the best dishes, for which you have to pay extra. Why? I don't know. When you spend a few hundred euros per night, everything in the breakfast menu should be included, if you ask me. Overall, the place looks good but the services do need improving, a little bit more attention to the details would do good! And it would also mean a little more respect for the customers.
