Ndlovu Addo River Lodge

We had 2 standard rooms and a "holiday home" which had 2 rooms and a large kitchen, dining, longe area, and outside deck with braai. The rooms were very comfortable, and the setting on the river is lovely. Sophia is a great host. Highly recommended.

Excellent séjour au Ndlovu Addo River Lodge. C’est un très bon logement pour visiter le parc d’Addo, idéalement situé. Les lieux sont très propres, agréables et parfaitement entretenus. L’accueil de l’hôte a été au top : chaleureux, disponible et attentionné. Le safari d’une journée organisé par le lodge était exceptionnel, très bien encadré et parfaitement organisé. La nourriture était également excellente, avec un barbecue particulièrement apprécié. Je recommande vivement ce logement ainsi que le safari proposé, une très belle expérience.

A lovely, peaceful location! Breakfast was nice, and we really enjoyed preparing our own braai in the evening (ordered it the day before). The room was clean, and communication with the accommodation before and during our stay was smooth. It’s about a 40-minute drive to Addo Elephant Park - quite easy and convenient.

It had rained heavily, so the last stretch of the unpaved road was very wet and full of potholes. We didn’t have a 4WD, but we did have an SUV. Luckily, we managed fine, but with a low car it would have been much more difficult and challenging. The only possible improvement would be to offer some fruit at breakfast (which you could order in advance). Other than that, there is nothing to complain about regarding the stay!
