Lake Taupo Holiday Home

The house is spacious and very clean. It is nicely located in Taupo, not far from the botanical garden where it is nice to have short relaxing walks. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The bathroom has floor warming, very comfortable in the winter. The kitchen is directly next to the entrance of the apartment, with limited utensils. So if one wants to cook a big meal, it would challenging. But it was not a problem for us. We went every evening to the town for dinner, where there are many and divers restaurants.We did not meet the owner. But through the Booking.com app to communicate, the owner is very helpful.

Very thoughtful and very clean, even prepared two bottles of milk for kids! Saved them from starving in the mid of the night!

The reviews are misleading. There is no actual kitchen, just a provisional stove. The rugs are threadbare. The pullout bed has seen better days. The ac/heater barely function. The surroundings has not been kept well. No lake view, falsely advertised.

The accomodation was great value for money, perfect for our weekend stay in Taupo.
