Copper Cottage in Clare

Very stylish and everything high quality

The bed in the master bedroom NEEDS to be changed - the base creaked and the mattress was too hard for the creaky soft base which made for a bad combination- neither my partner nor I slept well on it.

Everything about our o0Pstay was amazing! The cottage itself is full of charm and although modernised, kept in well with the traditional tudor structure. It was the perfect size for us and the rustic wood smell that's found in tudor buildings is also there despite the usual modern day smells like coffee and fresh linen. The open fire places really adds a special touch to the rooms. The cottage is spacious and clean. No expense was spared in this property, from the furniture to the linens. The ground floor bathroom is spacious and the bath is a fantastic size. The master bed is very firm but actually helped sort out the back aches we seem to get once we pass our 30s 😑 The area is fantastic, the cottage is a minuets walk from the Swan pub, book shop (which is a must if you enjoy reading) small shop and pharmacy. The cottage comes with a helpful binder full of all info you need to know about the cottage and plenty of flyers and a local map of clare center. Everything is within a maximum 5 min walk. Just up the square is a great sandwich shop, jinkers I believe its called, where you can get pretty much any type of sandwich to take on a picnic to clare Castle....which is also a 2/3 min walk away. Over all a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this picture perfect cottage to anyone and everyone.
