Beautiful apartment. Good size, well maintained and cleaned, and easy to find and access with the instructions given. The apartment had everything we could need including everything for cooking, washing up and laundry (though we didn’t use this) and there were some essentials such as salt, sugar, oil and coffee there for us to use which was really helpful, as well as some welcoming drinks and chocolates which was a lovely touch. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was great too. Marjan was also very helpful and proactive to ensure we had a good stay! The area where it is located is lovely and welcoming too - we even bumped into a local miller on a walk and he showed us inside the windmill!

House is truly a gem. Convenient location in the center of a beautiful village, with a supermarket around the corner and just about 20 min drive to Groningen. The house is not only beautiful but also incredibly cozy, thanks to the big windows that let in loads of natural light. What really stood out for me was the impressive level of equipment this place has. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and I mean everything. There were even ice cubes available for drinks, which my husband truly appreciated. The hosts have put a lot of thought into making this house comfortable and welcoming. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces, it's a fantastic place to stay. Marjan is also amazing host, friendly, responsive with great tips either for parking in Amsterdam or for pitorresque villages by the sea, Our time here was great, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway.

Bathroom could be warmer.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Hosts Marjan and Erik are very nice, very helpful and super communicative. If you plan to visit the Groningen area, you won't find a nicer place. Super close to Groningen, 15 minutes to the port of Lauwersoog from which you can get a ferry to the island of Schiermonnikoog.
