Located on the Vršić pass, Gozdu is an excellent location.

There is only 1 shower in the shared bathroom, to serve quite a lot of hostel guests.

Rooms were very basic. The staff were super friendly. Location has one of the best dining experiences, we had venison stew, one of the best ones around.

Good for one night stay. Beds were ok. Everything was dated but clean.

"DE stop met verblijf tijdens beklimming van de Vrsic-pas"

1-dagsverblijf tijdens fietstrektocht. Vriendelijk ontvangst - fietsen veilig gestald in aparte ruimte - voorstel drogen van natte regenkleding. Mogelijkheid tot maaltijden. Kamer van 4 met aparte bedden voor ons 2. Gedeelde badkamer werkt vlot en voldoende ruim. Plots opkomend koude front deed ons vertrek uitstellen door toegesneeuwde weg. Hostess en personeel deden alles om ons te helpen en volgden de weerberichten op de voet. En zorgden uiteindelijk zelfs voor sneeuwruimer om de pas toegankelijk te maken. Alle lof
