New renovated beach front cottage

The cottage is well presented and larger than the photos suggest! We were left some welcome eggs, milk, crisps and biscuits by the host. The parking spot was essential and location proved ideal for day trips into St. Ives, local sandy beaches and St Michael’s Mount. Minack theatre close too if you’ve already booked your show. The kids very much enjoyed the TV which has many more channels than ours!

Location was good - harbour a stones throw away. Car parking space (once festival was over) was a bonus. Property very clean and good communications before the arrival day. Lovely goodies on arrival, fresh eggs & milk, biscuits etc.

Furnishings are quite basic and areas in need of maintenance (double mattress needs replacing, two cracked panes of glass, electric lights in living area work haphazardly) Description of property accurate, but no washing machine, dishwasher. Having to walk through one bedroom to get the other etc, think pricing should be adjusted accordingly.

Great location with added bonus of parking on site.

This was self-catering and dining out. Plenty of breakfast places to eat and my wife made great breakfasts. The kitchen is quite small but well-appointed and everything worked well. The entire place was pleasant, in good condition and perfectly located, a very short walk from the center of town, which made it quiet. The parking place was invaluable. The harborfront was charming.

It is important to know that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. Knowing that, it is not a problem. The wifi was excellent and the town is delightful. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. It took us a moment to figure out the shower, but the instant hot water was great to have.

Character. Position. Parking Good linen comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen crockery etc.

A hand rail at top of stairs as first two steps were tricky. A bedroom stool or chair would be nice Getting in and out of bath for the shower was dangerous on my own. Needed help from my sister.

Proximity to sea and amenities… car parking space, pretty cottage and comfortable

Car park in front of the cottage… noise by the builders adjacent to the cottage, faulty front door lock, dirty windows inside and out, no information about the property ( bins etc) , shower and toilet water pressure ( scalding shower at times and dangerous) poor food prep area and dry food storage

Location, proximity to the sea and harbour

Extensive and noisy building works 10 foot from the property for the whole week. Not told about this. Busy car park right outside but again not mentioned, often large vans obscuring views. Very basic decor for the price charged.
