Light home apartment Alesund with free parking

Large apartment and good kitchen facilities (coffee machine!). Good for a short stay in Ålesund. Very close to supermarket.

A bit worn out place and a little off-centre but still cosy.

beautiful space to stay in Alesund, I have no problems with take a shower. Free parking space was a huge plus

it was wonderful coffeemaker but in apartment was no coffee and no hair dryer ☹️

Good to feel at home away from home

Appartment is very centrally located, easy to reach. Nice space, cosy and comfortable. Beds are also good.

Although the bathroom looked nice, we didn't shower because there was black fungus growing...

I recently booked the "Light home apartment Alesund with free parking" for January 17-18, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Failure to Honor Check-In Time: I explicitly requested a check-in time between 11:00 and 12:00, as this was critical for my plans. However, the host, Mariya, informed me that check-in would only be possible after 15:00 due to cleaning requirements. This directly contradicted my needs and the initial agreement. Poor Communication: The host provided unclear and inconsistent responses to my requests. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, she failed to offer a concrete solution or accommodate my needs. Additional Stress and Costs: Due to the host's inability to guarantee the agreed check-in time, I was forced to spend significant time searching for alternative accommodations on the same day. This caused me considerable stress and disrupted my plans. Additionally, I had to book a more expensive apartment at short notice, incurring unnecessary financial costs. Cancellation Issues: The host initially suggested I cancel the booking myself, but later it became clear that this would incur a cancellation fee. This lack of clarity and support added to my frustration. Conclusion: I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who values clear communication and reliable service. The host's failure to honor the agreement and provide adequate support made my stay extremely stressful and inconvenient.
