Fountain City Suite Historic Gem Extended Stay

Great location, close to a supermarket where you can buy everything you need, close to Westport which has plenty of restaurants and bars and a 40 minute walk into Kansas City itself. When the Streetcar extends to Westport the property will be ideally located for tourists. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook meals. The washer and dryer were fantastic additions and were super helpful

The check-in instructions were followed but we could not access the building with the provided code. The building manager could not be contacted as it was a Saturday, so we felt very lost and helpless. The wine bar owner had to let us in and give us their code to access the building. The wifi was not great, especially for work. The signal was pretty bad when in the living room and bedroom. The TV could not connect to the wifi either, so it felt pretty useless. The apartment is on Main Street, so it gets very loud, especially the nightclub across the street. Thurs-Sat will get very loud from 9pm-3am where you can hear the music from the nightclub clearly. The fitness centre is inaccessible without the building manager being on-site to let you in, which doesn't help when the manager is never there. The neighbour was partial to smoking marijuana all day, and the smell infiltrates this apartment Some aspects of the apartment were not clean/a bit dusty when we checked in
