Communication with the hosts very good. Prompt and efficient. Thankfully for us their English is better than our Portuguese. The property was lovely and high spec. There is plenty of living space. The showers are excellent. It was lovely to have a garden area and the smell of jasmine is fabulous. Having the 'garden bedroom' the other end of the property would make this ideal for 2 couples who want to be together and have their own space. We were greedy - just 2 of us. The location is ideal. It is near the castle and was quiet when we went late April.

Similarly to other reviews it was disappointing that there was no welcome pack - maybe a pint of milk, bottle of water, tea or coffee would have made arrival more seamless. We knew Tavira and where to get provisions but others might not straight away. The kitchen is high spec and well equipped. Given it is in effect a self-catering property basic provisions such as oil, salt and pepper. balsamic , food coverings and kitchen roll would be a nice addition and ones we have appreciated in other properties. Also a property manual - setting out how to use things and places of interest would be well received. These comments are intended to be constructive criticism that would make this the perfect property and a perfect 10.

Location ideal for central Tavira with numerous restaurants and shops in short walking distance. Agent was waiting at house for our arrival to give keys and show us around the property. House very comfortable and of a high standard. Property spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. Outdoor garden very attractive and great place to spend outdoor time. Has a small splash pool.

Parking difficult in central Tavira. Property had no private parking however public parking only 2 minutes away. The public car parks were busy in March and I would imagine parking would be very difficult in the summer.
