Completely renovated and a new appartment. I liked it a much. I believe that it was a great choise to choose this.

The TV is very good and has streaming services (if the WiFi is working), the balcony door has a mosquito screen, the extractor fan in the bathroom works really well, the shower has good supply of hot water. I never met the host but they provided very good instructions on how to get into the apartment and responded immediately to any questions. The room had a small balcony with a very nice view over the town down to the sea. The window blocks out noise from outside.

The property is an apartment where 3 en-suite rooms share a small kitchenette. Fridge, sink, small coffee machine, microwave; no kettle and no dishwasher. The breakfast was mostly wrapped rusks and biscuits, with some jam and nutella. In the fridge was milk, juice in small packets and a 0.5l bottle of water provided. In my case, these supplies were immediately taken by other guests, I then went and bought my own breakfast. The WiFi worked only on 3 of 7 days. In the bathroom, a floor tile was missing, the hole had been covered by a plastic mat. The shower is stuck on the 'rainforest' setting, the handset cannot be used. There's an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. No change of towels provided, you use the same ones all week. The apartment is not very soundproof. The front door is metal and very loud, so you always hear if someone is coming or going. I had neighbours who were very loud and particularly one night started a loud argument at 3 am. The house is directly by the train line, so you get the noise from there too. One of the rooms faces that way. The lamps next to the bed get very hot after about half an hour and then start flickering. The bed is good, but the coverlet is some synthetic material which makes it very sweaty.

The room is located on a third floor of a typical local house. The floor has a nicely decorated common (shared) lounge room for 3 apartments. It has a shared kitchen with a fridge, microwave, sitting area etc which was nice and comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated, modern and clean. TV and air conditioner were working well. We had a small balcony with views of the neighborhood and partial views of the bay of naples. Walking distance to the center of Ercolano, the train station as well as the Herculaneum ruins. We recommend the pizzeria Luna Caprese for some authentic and reasonably priced local pizza and pasta. Overall we enjoyed the stay and we have mainly positive feedback.

The area is not particularly interesting, just a typical residential area. Trains pass nearby all the time so be prepared for some noise, especially mind if you are a light sleeper. It has no elevator so it may be an issue for elderly people but for us it wasn't an issue. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom during the whole stay and there was a hole in part of the bathroom covered with a rag which we found strange. There was a box of dry bread, mini marmalades, capsules for the esperesso machine and mini nutellas which was nice but only two half liter bottles of water and one big bottle of juice which we thought was insufficient for two people staying for a whole week... So not really a breakfast as there are no cheeses, cold meat, fruits or vegetables only some snacks... The walls are quite thin and the neighbors from the apartment next door were not very considerate especially in the mornings so we had to wake up as soon as they did... :( The instructions to enter were sent to us on the day of arrival and at that time we had no internet access so it was a bit of hassle trying to enter the place as there is nobody available to talk to (check in and check out is done by yourself). A local Italian friend tried to call the number provided by the property on several occasions with nobody answering which caused some stress which could be easily avoided if the host would have provided the instructions a couple of days in avance.

Great Staff, so responsive and helpful! The room was great, quite smartly arranged setup. Also, if you want to see more than just Naples, Ercolano is a great idea - close to the city and close to Pompei, Sorrento, etc. The hotel was 9 minutes from the station and with a view of the sea. Vesuvius was right there!

Location is great, kitchen is good, nice view from the balcony. And very big TV. The possibility to use a washing mashing was a real pleasure :)

The water was too tricky, we didn't get it: sometimes there wasn't cold water, so only hot, and you need to wait some minutes to continue washing.

Everything went smooth. The host was kind. :)

The boiler was a bit loud, but they started to fix that. :)
