The Slaters Arms Corris

The food was out of this world. Very tasty and home cooked freshly to order.

The room generally was fine.

Very friendly, nice beer, good evening meal. Breakfast was limited - only a cooked English breakfast - but was very good.

Limited outdoor space which is a shame on a nice summer evening.

Finally got to stay at this lovely traditional pub. Setting is idyllic and breakfast was delicious. A wonderfully warm welcome. Thank you

Maybe useful to have a chair in the bedroom,even if it's just a small one 🙂

Great location, friendly staff, good beer and food.

Just one thing; there was no easy chair (or any chair) in the room, so one couldn`t just sit and relax or read. (The bed was good for sleeping in but not for sitting on)

Wanted to extend stay but managment were not accommodating .

Fabulous staff - Dai was very attentive and Clare (or Claire?) is lovely. They appeared to be well liked by everybody. Food - The evening meals were excellent. Filling and tasty, perfect for after a day in the mountains. Breakfast was the best I have had for some time especially the thick cut bacon cooked perfectly. Room - simple but very comfortable. Excellent shower in the en-suite Location - In an area of outstanding natural beauty - Mountains, valleys and lakes.

Minor recommendation would be a comfortable chair in the room to relax in before bed. The area, whilst the remoteness is a draw, has little in the way of grocery shops especially if you are out early for the day of hiking. Take provisions with you
