The Slaters Arms Corris

Staff were very warm & welcoming. Breakfast was extremely nicely cooked & filling. The pub was in the heart of the village & was the central social hub set in a beautiful location with a forest of trees & a river running through very near by.

There was no parking at the pub or near by but a near by car park which was free & very useful but a bit of a dash if it were raining.

The two rooms we had were excellent, just what we needed. The evening meal & breakfast were well cooked and I have to say I had a little order envy over the pie my mum had over the chilli I had. The discovery of hawkstone on draft was a pleasant surprise and I indulged.

The only thing I think could of improved my stay was if I had ordered the pie instaed of the chilli.

V friendly and helpful staff. The food was hearty and the breakfast in particular was great. Really comfortable rooms and a great location.
