Hero's Square Apartment

Everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean and nice, it had everything you need. From kitchen appliances, blankets, cosmetics.. The location was very nice and quiet with a short distance walk to the bus and metro station. The host (Dora) was one of the most responsive hosts I have communicated with. Very nice and helpful and I thank her for everything. I will book this apartment again definitely!

Maybe the light coming through the front door but it was not a big issue

The apartment is amazing. Everything was clean and for New year period, it was super warm in the apartment, which we liked a lot. You have everything that you need in the apartment. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from Heroes square. The host's are very nice. They responded on our questions very fast and they were very helpful. Big recommendation for this apartment if you want to stay in a lovely and quiet place.

Terror experience!!! Please don't risk by booking this flat. I arrived at the apartment late in the evening. On plugging my phone, the electricity went off in the flat - there was no way to switch it back on. It was late in the evening, the host did not answer the phone and I had to endure the night with no electricity. I asked for a refund but only part-refund was offered. The host did not seem to understand the severity of the issue - electric safety should be paramount for an accomodation and staying abroad without a way to recharge your phone and/or switch lights could have led to more serious consequences.

The location of this apartment was quite good, it is a five minute walk from metros or bus stations as it is down a boulevard. It is next to Hero's Square, Szechenyi Baths and Vajdahunyad Castle. The flat is spacious and quiet and well equipped in terms of consumables. There was an iron, vacuum, washing machine as well which we appreciated. The bathroom and showers were very nice indeed.

Really squeaky beds! They kept us up at night as the squeaks sounded like beeping every time we moved. The flat also has a strangely stale but damp smell. No kettle for boiling water. The TV Netflix app somehow didn't work. The apartment building itself must have been a converted school or offices from the Soviet era - the long corridors can be a bit terrifying at night.

It was a wonderful experience to be able to stay in this apartment. The hosts responded incredibly quickly to our questions, gave us valuable tips, such as the Budapest Go app, the exact route from the airport, restaurant options, and, in response to our question, very good restaurant tips and traditional souvenir shops. As we arrived a little earlier than planned, we were allowed to check in earlier. Even when we had problems checking in and reported this to the hosts, they responded quickly. The apartment is very central and you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes on foot. There is also a metro nearby. All in obe everything was quiet perfect and we felt very good there:))One of the best experiences with really very friendly and incredibly helpful hosts! Thank you Dora and Tamas!

Actually there isb‘t anything we disliked just just two really small things like pillows were a bit too high and our neck was hurting every morning, maybe everyone will feel different with that and the bed squeaked with every little movement, no matter if sitting down or turning during sleeping. But we get used to the squeaking over time ;).
