Historic Home Family Friendly Close to Seawall

The house was spacious and had multiple bedrooms, living areas. Location of the house was great, just a few blocks from the beach. We went for walks on the beach. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. We arrived about an hour early, and were allowed to enter without extra pay, which was great.

The house was very dusty. In the kitchen cabinets we discovered cockroaches, all the Kitchenware wasn't in their places, and pans and baking sheets and dishes were dirty and sticky from grease. All the beds in the bedrooms are double beds, fairly small for 2 people. One of the bathrooms upstairs did not have hot water, it was lukewarm all the time. We encountered a gas smell around furnace room. Since it was locked up we only could report it to the property management company. We flew from Montana to meet with the family, and only stayed in the house for 4 days, it was impractical to buy packages of toilet paper, or huge bottles of dish soap. And only 2 trash bags. It wasn't enough of course, so we had to improvise.

We killed several roaches..the pic when rented shows pic of garage but could not use and was one reason rented the property..bathroom door want lock..hard to operate a/c thermostat...the thru one room to get to others... Property needs to be better explained

I loved the location and the overall vibes of the home! It was gorgeous!

I did not like that there wasn't an accessible shower or bath downstairs.

The fact it had roaches in the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom had mold in it, and it was raining so I basically had a flood in the downstairs bathroom. There was water damage but the room that had four bunkbeds had no airflow no AC duck

The house was very clean, spacious and inviting. It felt like a home away from home. Bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds. Kitchen and restrooms were clean. Patio was refreshing. We truly loved this home, can’t wait to book again.

I didn’t like that a security deposit was required AFTER paying for our stay. I think that information should’ve been disclosed with the cleaning fees, resort fees and taxes. This was my first time booking a home so I’m not sure if this is the norm. However, our deposit was refunded within two days. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this home again.

Location was great

Not enough kitchen towels or silverware . No extra hand towels or washcloths. Needs to be extra provided since there is not a washing machine there.

The coziness of the house, the location to the beach was great.

The laundry area could have been better cleaned or moved. Two bedrooms were not cooling from the ac with the setting at 70 degrees during the evening.

It was beautiful inside & out. Great location! Not far at all from stores & the beach. Just amazing honestly.

That we didn’t get to stay longer. 😩

We loved all the room we had! The kids loved there secret room! The neighborhood was great & friendly! We love walking to the beach in the evening! We all had great time & Thank you Capt York for sharing your beautiful home with us! We loved the family pictures yall shared though out the home. :)

They only thing I found was it just needs towel hook by the shower in the bedroom with its own bathroom. And when people with large group stay for week it's needs couple more rolls of toilet paper & bathroom trash bags.
