Elegant Old Town Escape

The apartment itself was very comfortable and immaculately clean, with thoughtful amenities. Washing machine was much appreciated, easy to use. Bathroom and kitchen were well-stocked, temperature control was perfect. Diana, the hostess was kind, accessible and a good communicator. FInding the correct location to unload the car was a bit tricky as the apartment is pedestrian-only at the entrance and a busy roadway on the other side, but Diana was very helpful with this, and she thoroughly researched the parking situation and the garage she recommended was clean, not too expensive, and accepted credit cards - about 5 blocks from the apartment. THe exterior of the building and the hallways were a bit run-down, but to be located in this part of the old town in a nice apartment with an elevator at the price point was an excellent value.

Clean, nice room furniture

Around the area the music sound was so high and resumed up to 6 AM.

Everything was perfect from the host perspective. Well equipped and clean. Host was very nice and helped us with luggage storage as well. Location is top, close to everything we needed and wanted

The few things that could be improved would be the door handles for bathroom and bedroom that were loose and we sometimes couldn’t close the doors due to the fault. Another issue that arose on the last day was that the water was running and toilet flashing constantly and very loudly from the flat above and kept us awake but this is out of the control of the owner.

The location is perfect located bang in the middle of old town and the middle of city centre a 1 minute walk from public transportation. The apartment was very clean and tidy very well renovated and could tell extra attention to detail was done when cleaning. Instructions for getting in were super clear and could get in at any point of the day or night due to how you collect the keys which was so helpful since I landed 10pm Romania time

Only thing which Is super silly the apartment was really hot, so was good at keep heat which is a good thing just more a preference I like it to be a bit more colder.

I have been getting accommodation services through booking for years. The owner, Diana, was the most thoughtful and kind host I have ever met. The house had thought of even the smallest details, from disposable toothbrushes to slippers, hair styling to hair clips. Apart from these, she was very helpful in every way, such as transportation to the airport, maps of touristic spots around, etc. The house was furnished with modern and new furniture. The house was very clean and practical. We were able to walk everywhere due to its central location.

We visited Bucharest for my husband's ANC citizenship appoinment. The house is very close to the ANC building. First of all, I want to thank to the host. She is a very warm and kind person. She shared every single detail about the house and the location with me beforehand. Also, she helped us a lot on the first day of our stay. The house is so perfect. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bucharest. Check in time was 15:00. We arrived before the check in time. She kindly offered that we could put our luggage in the house, so we wouldn't be have to walk around the the city with them until the check in time. She also shared a "Travel Guide" she has prepared in detail with us. Thanks to the guide, we learnt the best places in the city. At the house, there were 2 bottles of water and 2 chocolates that she bought. (That's very kind of you, Diana. Thank you, again!) She told us that the tap water was drinkable. We tried and liked the taste of the tap water. House was extremely clean. Also, even though it was the end of December and minus degrees, the house was very warm. And, you could find almost everything at the house. There even was a lint roller. She has really thought of everything you may be in need of. Also, there was an espresso machine and its 4 capsules, lots of herbal teas and 2 packs of hot chocolates. Water in the bathroom got quickly hot. The towels were clean and new. Wifi was very fast. The house had a sweet balcony. I didn't use the washing machine but there were both laundary detergent and laundary softener. We enjoyed the house a lot. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you a million times!
