Very simple room with a garden. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach or the city center. As is often the case in Jamaica, there are dogs on the property. So if you're afraid of dogs, ask in advance. The rooms are simply furnished, with a small kitchen where you can cook. Nothing luxurious, but perfectly adequate. Wi-Fi was stable the whole time. There's also a fan to keep it a bit cooler in hotter weather. All in all, you're staying a bit outside of the city center and a bit off the beaten track. But you still have peace and quiet.

Everything we needed for a night! Clean. Good price..Such a cute little space. Grateful to Marie for her yummy fruit breakfast and extra red strips. Appreciated the raw and wildness of the yard. And all the pups. Loved jumping on the trampoline. Thank you sooo much for your kindness and hosting, Marie! Wonderful spot to stay when it's raining hard. Close to the airport. If you like to walk, it's a nice downhill and uphill trek... we took a lonnnggg walk haha also appreciated the spiritual books in the space. 🙏 A lot of air, a lot of light. She also is a tour guide. So if you need some tips just ask her. We used her guidebook to find Vegan Utopia!!! Ooooo the best food and the greatest Chef!

Some outdoor furniture could use some updating.

Super cozy experience staying in a local home!! Marie & her family were super friendly and welcoming!! Marie is also great to speak with about local experiences & advice. The garden in the back was definitely my favorite! It was also great to bring back some food & cook in our own private space.

We found the property, quaint, Homie, and a real view of the culture surrounding us! Her two pups were very friendly and we even had a visit from her kitty cat.

The only negative thing I have to say is it was a bit of a bumpy trek from the street to our room. The street noise was there however we were warned.

Lovely space with an owner who really loves Jamaica. She had great information for our trip and was very helpful! We only stayed here one night as it was the jumping off point for the rest of our trip. Very close to the airport!

Only had one restaurant in walking distance, and no groceries nearby, but there were several places that delivered. Not a problem, as you can tell this before booking. Just be aware that you might want to ask your driver to stop quickly at a market if you will need some food items.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating. There’s a beautiful garden with fruit trees and you’re free to use the fruit in your meals.

The apartment is not too spacious.

Quick taxi to the beach

I stayed for one night, and there were two unleashed and unattended aggressive dogs on the property. I asked another tenant if the dogs bite and was informed that the eggman had been bitten. They leashed one dog, and the other continued to run up to me, barking aggressively each time i entered the premises. They eventually agreed not to charge me for the stay. Today, I received a message threatening retaliation.

The garden is beautiful, you have the basic amenities like a kitchen with fridge, toaster oven, etc. Very friendly host, good location and you get what you see in the pictures

The price for one night is a little steep but the location is very convenient
