The Redwell Country Inn

Cleanliness, comfort and everything in good working order. Proximity to Carnforth where we were working. Food very good: hone cooked, fresh and all staff friendly and helpful.

Modern and friendly place to stay. I have visited the pub previously under different owners and was very pleasantly surprised by the alterations and facilities. I grew up in a neighboring village and know the area very well. The views are amazing with numerous outside areas to sit around plus plenty of car parking spaces. No children's play area but not needed as safe space to have a run around with traditional toys. Coffee and cake is truly amazing and plenty of choice and big portions. Two real ales plus the usual choice of drinks from the bar. Dog friendly for the restaurant Evening meals very tasty and big portions. I had a roast and very happy with my beef and Yorkshire pudding. Lots of choice of dishes. Breakfast again very good and reasonable priced. All good fresh local produce and a local butcher seen delivering the meat. Locals friendly and had a great chat as we had mutual friends in common by the time we were going.

Please consider one of the rooms to be dog friendly as our 2 and us would come back regularly. We were picking up ours from the local kennels in the area and no longer have a property in the area.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Disappointed with the location of the room as it was at the back with no window to look out of.

I had a spotlessly clean and comfortable room (with an equally spotless bathroom) with perfect views over the countryside to the front of the Inn. Essential toiletries were supplied, including a hair dryer. The tv had Freeview channels and Prime (didn’t try Netflix) and was perfectly positioned. I slept very well on an extremely comfortable bed.

The only thing I can think of to say is that I would have liked a water glass in the glass holder in the bathroom. Not a disaster (!) as I just used one of the tea cups. And that is it. I can’t think of any other “problem” at all and, as I said, that was easily surmountable.
