"A basic, comfortable stay if location and the availability of a parking spot are priorities."

Great location, 5 min walk to the citadel. The apartment is spacious, clean but modest in a refurbished communist-era building complex facing a pedestrian commercial street. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it appeared to be well stocked. The washing machine was a plus and also the availability of a dedicated parking spot.

Although we didn’t use the A/C, we were put off by the additional hourly charge for using it. The hostess accepts cash only, of which we were not notified until 2 hours before our arrival. The hostess should provide better directions for accessing the parking lot since Google will only take you to the pedestrian walkway but the parking lot is accessible via a back road that the neighbors helped us find.
