Great location & the place was spotlessly clean. I was visiting my daughter & she stayed on the pullout in the living room/kitchen area. Perfect.

The bedroom was perfect in size, with double bed & side tables but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, sadly.

Location great for the centre of Valletta great views across to the three cities kitchen size was perfect bedroom a good size with a decent size wardrobe and draws so you can unpack! Aircon worked great with one on both the living area and the bedroom

very little the TV needed you to bring your own firestick to watch anything as no Arial for even a news channel. one or two cockroaches during the week but is expected in Malta roadworks outside the property for 4 days of the week - you can't plan for that and they didn't start until 8am

Other than the noise and excessive speed of the overhead fan (which meant that this couldn't be used while in bed), the bedroom was fine. The owners did propose a 25% reduction following our complaint about the roadworks; fair enough, but I wanted to be able to write an honest assessment of this apartment for others and not just take the money.

On arrival, the street was being dug up and the next door property was being refurbished. While the manager/owners may not have realised work was being carried out to this property, they certainly would have known about the roadworks in the street with the red mesh barriers spoiling the view out. Not to be informed beforehand was dishonest. Signs in the street confirmed that this was to last all of September. Workers arriving from 6.30m to start work with JCB's/jack hammers at 7am ruined every start of the day. The windows are unable to be closed tightly and therefore all noise from the road comes directly into the small apartment, exacerbating the feeling that you were in the middle of the street. The kitchenette is a very small, without an extractor over the two ring top. Fortunately there were enough cooking utensils to prop open the shuttered windows, as without these the windows would swing close as there were no way to keep these open. The kitchenette had only one small frying pan and one medium saucepan and therefore not possible to cook without in relay. Without an extractor, however, its unlikely that most people will want to cook. The living area tiled floor was clean, but the hessian rug in the centre had clearly not been hoovered or seriously cleaned for a long time. It was full of bits and dirt and there was no way to clean this without an available hoover. The smell from the small cupboard with the washing machine was overpowering. Who thinks it's sensible to leave a wet cleaning cloth and bucket in an unventilated cupboard? The bathroom was not mechanically ventilated but there was in-sufficient air coming though the fixed louvred opening and it was dark. The bathroom had no hooks to put clothes or towels on. The bedroom fan went round like a turbo propeller. The down draft and noise meant that this could not be used when in the bed. TV would not connect - bring your own cables to connect to laptops.

Excellent location, very close to the centre but at the same time steps away from the crowds. The apartment is beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped....plus with an amazing view. We really appreciated the attention to details, kindness of the host as well as the welcome drinks and snacks. We travel often and it was the first time for us to receive such a treatment. We will definitely be back.🙂
