The Keep at Craigiehall

The view was amazing, property was spacious, the host was very swift with response and addressing the only issue we had.

Having to describe the location of the house to taxi drivers. Perhaps a sign/arrow at the entrance of the rough gravel road that's says "This way to No 66" (for instance) might be helpful.

The accommodation was very comfortable, with a large lounge upstairs with a great view. Close to the Ingliston Park and Ride so that we could catch the tram into the city. A lovely rural setting. Not a dislike, but just for information purposes, it is near the airport, but not noisy.

The wifi was intermittent.

Remote location with great views of the surrounding area and Airport terminal making it great for plane spotting.

The bedrooms were not made up upon arrival although this was quickly rectified and the housemaid was super efficient and friendly. The main trunk road to the property has been partially blocked making access to the local Town (Crammond) painful by car and you have to take the long way round so plan your trips. What looks like a 10 minute drive can quickly become a 30min drive.

Beautiful views, quiet, clean and out off the town.

The balconies are shared and/or over looked by other apartment patio doors.

We loved our stay at the keep, we spent alot of time in Edinburgh but wished we had more time in the house as it was perfect and very comfortable in a relaxing setting. We would love to visit again

Really comfortable, everything we needed for a weekend stay. In a beautiful location. Lots of lovely places to walk. Spotted deer in the garden

This was a great find and close to our new apartment and handy for us in helping us to move in.
