It was clean, cute, comfortable and close to town. Great bakery next door.

Check in and check out times (10 am and 4pm). However the office held our bags. It was slightly noisy being by the gate.

The location and inside the apartment was great! You could tell that sisters/women designed the place and really thought through everything for guests. I was here for a conference at Villa Erba and it was a 3 minute walk. The bus stop and places to eat are very close too. Overall very nice stay!

Check in was pretty difficult. They said that you’d get the check in information the day before and I did not. I was traveling only on WIFI and was very stressed that I didn’t get any information from them until 12:00 of the day I was going to check in (4 hours before). Then once I got the information is was super inconvenient to get to the keys. The keys for the apartment were a 13 minute bus ride (plus long bus wait times) or a 40 minute walk. That is really wild to ask guests to do. Please consider a smoother check in for guests. Also it would be lovely to add a shelf or something in the shower. There is nothing to hold your soap/shampoo and that was awkward. Don’t let the check in totally deter you from picking this place, but keep on it was veryyyy inconvenient.

All about location!!! The apartment was within five minute walk to everything, downtown area, grocery store, water taxi pier, great restaurants and bars, etc. Secure onsite parking was the cherry on top!

No issues. Nothing to change. Owner was upfront with restrictions and potential noise (none issue, but still warned that there was upstairs construction going on during daylight hours).

Location was fantastic. Super clean. Well equipped. Convenient parking.

Rolled in later than anticipated and had lost wifi connection en route but managed to make contact with the hosts eventually and Denise arranged to meet me near to the property with the keys: which was superkind of her and a total relief to me. For Villa Erba access (which is where my meeting was) this little apartment is right on the doorstep - a 2m walk down the street. The apartment itself was tidy, clean, quiet and cosy. Excellent sleeps! ;-) zzzz. There's a Lidl 5m walk up the street if you need cheap supermarket access, and I tried the pizza place up the street (1m away) and it was awesome -(I can recommend the Carsi for $7.50). All in all, fabulous hosts who took care of me when I needed it on day 1, and a lovely apartment that I'll be using again next time I'm in Como. [One final tip! if you're coming from/going to Malpensa: don't get out at Como Borghi looking for a taxi - go all the way to Como Lago and hop on the MUCH cheaper lake taxi boat to Cernobbio: you'll save yourself best part of 30 euros: just check the timetable for the boats in advance! ;-) )

no taxis waiting at Como Borghi as standard! Had to nip into the local taverna and ask the owner to phone me one. Also - don't depend on the wifi on the trains if you're on Android like I was (although my phone is old too).

Clean extra welcome facilities. Comfortable. Quiet location very safe area. Wonderful town by the lake
