We loved the place - a traditional country house set in its own gardens with views of the mountains and only five minutes by car to shops and restaurants. We spent six nights there, long enough for problems to surface, but there were none. The kitchen is well equipped with everything necessary if you wanted to prepare your own meals after a day out, and there's even a barbecue on the ground floor for the more adventurous cooks. If you're travelling light and need to wash clothes - not a problem either. The location worked well for us as we wanted to do some walking, visit old abbeys, churches, natural springs, nature reserves, and hermitages - and eat in country restaurants! Only 30 minutes away is Pescara for a taste of city life, and less than that to the airport. Moreover, the owner Francesco was always available with advice and recommendations. And it was nice to know there was someone to turn to if anything should go wrong on our holiday. We had a good time!
