Hill Top Lodge Ghandruk

This place is so excellent! The views are stunning, the rooms are clean, the food is great, and the hosts are so kind! I wouldn’t change a thing. Wish I stayed longer! Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Nepal.

Family run lodge that has been with the family for many decades. You see 3 generations present with all pitching in to make the place welcoming and pleasing experience. The setup with balcony view is stunning and you get amazing views over the valley as well as the mountains for morning and evening views. The staff are very attentive and constantly asking if all is fine. The food was great ( like home cooked and what they would eat themselves) , highly recommend taking breakfast on the balcony with the mountain view before you. ( They will accommodate if you are nice about it) The room is good size and provides adequate facilities considering you are in a mountain lodge you should manage expectations. In the village there is multiple lodges and this looked like a more modern setup. In the evening they sometimes setup a bonfire which was nice to take in the open air. The place also felt safe to leave room closed without lock. But likely depends on others staying there at the time.

Being high up, you have to manage expectations, in the highest (most exposed) rooms you get great views but also be prepared to feel dampness during the night. Don't expect luxury with AC etc, otherwise you go for the views and fresh air, both are delivered in droves.

This family run hotel in the lap of the mountains is doing its best in every aspect. Great hospitality, Rooms were great and the food was amazing. The views are amazing. Highly recommended.

The young family the run Hill Top Lodge are so kind and will help you with everything.The rooms are clean,the breakfast is very good and the view from the big balcony are amazing.

Our hosts were so loving and warm. Also the couple who runs it are a local / so food, stories, trek details everything comes from them. The food is simple and oh so nice

I'm coming back to my home country Tunisia very satisfied and happy! The hotel feels like a home, cozy and in a great location, I wake up with every sunrise to watch the Himalayas from the balcony.. the staff are very kind and genuine. Lilla is a great chef, and good hotel keeper, he offers help whenever needed ! Thézz and his wife are wonderful mates as well , I will definitely come back! Dhaniyabaaad
