Camp Familia Erg Chebbi

Experiencia digna de vivir al menos una vez en la vida. Hemos pasado tres noches y lo peor fue la hora que tuvimos que marchar…😥 Acogidos desde el minuto uno por Hassan y toda su familia. Nos mostraron su realidad de vida, y creerme, siempre con una sonrisa. Experiencia súper enriquecedora y recomendable sin dudarlo. Paisaje increíble, tiendas realmente confortables y dunas del desierto a menos de 30min andando, disfrutando del maravilloso ecosistema. GRACIAS!!😁

Hassan est très gentil et accueillant. Il c’est très bien occupé de nous.

Énorme surprise au moment de partir ou nous avons du payer plus cher que la chambre et les repas , pour avoir fait le trajet jusqu’à chez Hassan en 4x4 aller/retour.. Nous avons attendu déjà 2h qu’il arrive et nous pensions que c’était compris dans le prix car personne ne nous en a parlé, rien ! Du coup c’est comme si la chambre vous coûte le double , sans vraiment le savoir ! C’est pas normal ! Il faut le dire !

Amazing place! Hassane and his family have been the best host we could have asked for. If you are looking for a real experience in the dessert this place is a must! Even though you are going yo sleep in tents, they are comfy. There are different areas in the accomodation, a nice "restaurant" where you will eat homemade food, a chill out area where you will be able to sing and play traditional drums next to a fireplace and even a toilet! Hassane also offers different activities such as Quads and Sandboarding in the dunes, don't mind asking if you need anything, he is always willing to help! We would for sure recomend the place to our friends! Thank you Hassane!

Had an amazing time here, definitely recommend! The location is perfect, it is not in the sand dunes but you’re not surrounded by touristy camps. You can still see them from a distance and it’s only a short walk. Peaceful atmosphere, extremely kind host, drum session in the evening and great (and a lot of) food!

We had a wonderful time there (stayed 2 nights over the New Year). I really liked the area of the camp and the vibe itself. The camp is in a remote area further from the tourist camps and is run by a family. When you are there, you can feel like you are really a part of a family rather than a part of some mass tourism. Hassan (and his family) are extraordinarily attentive. They do make sure each guest feels well all the time and they do spend time with their guests. Also, they serve very generous breakfasts, lunches and dinners (actually it was always too much). They are very chill, yet well organized. Also, I really appreciated the cleanliness (I mean the tents, blankets, etc) of the camp and its facilities. The camp is well decorated, the tents are cozy and we even got three blankets each to make sure we would stay warm. Additionally, the camp even has a bathroom and water which I didn’t expect at all. Lastly, Hassan organized a camel tour for us which was really cool and we had the pleasure to enjoy a night around a campfire with a traditional music.

Just count with that fact that you need to get into the camp either by camel, on your own, or by an organized pick up (which is quite pricey).

Remote area away from the turistic area of tents. Very welcoming family and good food. Nice drums session around the fire in the evening.

About 15 min from the sand dunes, but the family arranged quick transport so that we could also enjoy the dunes.

Everything is perfect but the location

Location, as it is not near the dunes but on the rocky desert. I think they should allow the jeep to stop over the dunes for a while on the way to the camp, as otherwise the guests do not experiences the sand desert. We did the camel riding on our way back, so we could spend some time at least near the dunes

The best personal and the best home food from family kitchen. Nice camp in desert. Is not big camp, but small familly camp for relax.
