Domus Aurea Borgo House

In centro storico, but in a nice and quiet location. Very clean. Everything was fine.

Perfect location, between the train station and the town centre / beach. Trekking path up to the castle started right above the house. Comfortable, clean and quiet during the night as well. Friendly and helpful host - definitely recommended.

I had a really good stay! The upstairs bedroom is pretty and bathroom was nice and clean. In the evenings I sat by the french balcony, admiring the big rock you can see from there, drinking the wine that Domenico had left for me as a gift.

This is a lovely, cosy place in a fantastic location. It’s right next to the walk up to the castle and only a few minutes from the centre. The owners were very kind and helpful, providing us with complimentary limoncello and red wine. Fantastic value for the price, especially in Cefalu. It’s also quite private because it’s not on a main street, so we really enjoyed sitting outside the house.

The double bed is actually two singles next to each other which were uneven and became a bit uncomfortable after some time. Otherwise, no complaints. There’s also no WiFi but this wasn’t a problem for us, personally.

Unpretentious, but fully equipped, and everything worked. The owner's home-made limincello was an extra treat!

Could have used an internet connection (wi-fi or ethernet). Fortunately, the phone signal was reliable enough to depend on mobile data.

The kitchen was missing cutlery and the oven didn’t work.
