Here you can truly feel the essence of the place: peaceful silence broken only by the sounds of nature, breathtaking views, and a warm, genuine welcome. It's important to remember that you are in the middle of nature, so encountering a few insects is perfectly normal and part of the charm of this magical place. A special thank you to Kalana: with his kindness and care, he recommended wonderful experiences on the lake and excellent local restaurants. On our way back, he even personally accompanied us, acting as both our guide and driver, sharing curiosities about the area. A place we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the real Sri Lanka, far from tourist crowds and close to the heart of the country. Highly recommended!

Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es herrschte eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und sie haben uns beim Planen und Organisieren immer sehr geholfen.

The hospitality of the family and the unique experience to sleep in a lodge. There were 2 ventilators in the room, so it was perfect for the hot weather. The breakfast was great too!!

The family that ran the treehouse were the nicest people that we met throughout our trip. They were excellent hosts that made this feel more like a homestay. The meal that they offered for us on the first night was excellent and very homely. The young fella is a legend and I wish him all the best with his future studies.

Such kind family, they’ve tried to meet our needs on every end. And they did! Wooden house with a balcony to sit on feeling like you’re in the middle of the jungle! Nearby a great restaurant”Big Bite”.And more! Shower outside was an extra nice experience. Thank you for everything !
