Varkiza Seaside and Views Retreat with Jacuzzi

Nice place with beautiful view, comfort bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The neighbourhood is quiet. And the host was very kind and polite.

The views from the balcony and hiking trails behind the house were unbelievably beautiful! The space was amazing and has plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen is spacious and there was plenty of seating for meals. The table on the balcony and fenced yard are lovely additions. The neighborhood is quite walkable for those without mobility issues — can easily get to supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and playgrounds without a vehicle. Our kids enjoyed playing the board and card games the hosts had stocked. Vasili was wonderful and did everything possible to help, including coming to the house three times to help us get a family member who had broken her leg at our previous location in and out with a walker.

The huge incline near the main entrance made it difficult to load an unload luggage (the ramp is helpful but the drivers need to park on a steep hill and seemed annoyed). The previous guests had broken multiple things (dryer, door handle, shower, and jacuzzi). Vasili did his best to repair things quickly but we were unable to use the jacuzzi the entire time, and that’s the main reason we booked the location. On arrival, a neighbor accosted us in the hallway about how we better not make any noise during government-mandated quiet times (he said 2:30-5 and after 11) and how unhappy he was that short-term visitors were staying in that apartment. It was 1PM and we hadn’t yet made any noise, but we did duly note his request and tried our best to be good guests. 😆
