La Locanda del Convento

The location was perfect; great views from the terrazza; we enjoyed watching the sunset over Stromboli with a drink in hand. Breakfast very good!

Egy kicsit puritán

We stayed 3 nights. The accommodation is an old 16th century convent. The views were great. It had a lift to reach the upper floor. The breakfast was quite good. Dom (man) in the bar area was friendly. Nice to go to sleep listening to the sound of the ocean.

It was under renovation so it was noisy at times and incomplete. We were not informed of the renovations when we booked. There was no outside furniture to sit on, only tables in the bar area. No handrails on stairs. Rooms were very small - hard to manage walking around double bed & 2 travel bags. There was no inside common room to relax and have a cuppa or read. Bathroom was very small too and badly needed renovation. Weird flushing system pictured. Couldn’t access reception on our arrival and most times during our stay. Still waiting for the What’s Up Message I was supposed to receive to fill me in on accommodation details on our arrival.

Ekstra hotel. Udało nam się zaparkować pod hotelem. Śniadanie bogate chociaż po włosku. Ręczniki codziennie wymieniane. Hotel przyjemny i w samym centrum.

Słaby internet

Gastvrij ontvangst en een prachtig uitzicht. Dichtbij strand en centrum Tropea. Wakker worden met het bescheiden klokgeluid van de Convento, mooie serene sfeer en tuin met bar en uitzicht over zee, aanrader!

Douche is ietsie klein maar mogelijk moeten we wat minder eten en drinken;)

Great location, parking, breakfest. Beautiful view.
