The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Very easy access to market and stores.

Everything was perfect. Location is close to main road and cafes, and close to the beach.

Nothing.

Pros: 1. Location : Being at a walking distance from the beaches and multiple nice food joints, we were very happy with the location of the property. 2. Room cleanliness : The beds were made well, bathroom was clean. 3. Pricing : Rooms are quiet budget friendly. 4. Cafe : We unfortunately ended up dropping our drink and breaking a glass straw. The staff was very kind to get us another drink at no extra cost.

Cons: 1. Safety : The property does not have a proper gate, which means that anyone can enter the property at night. There was no security. We stayed over at the property over the weekend. We were not informed earlier that there would be no staff in the property post 4pm on saturday and on the whole of sunday. There was no one even at the time of our checkout. We were just asked to drop the key on their table and checkout. 2. Money minded : We had barely even checked in a 3pm when the host started asking us to make the payment. We had travelled a long distance and wanted to order something to eat since she informed that the kitchen would close in a few minutes but the host would'nt stop nagging us to make the payment immediately. All this because she wanted to go back home ASAP. 3. Power & water issues : While the host did inform us about a scheduled power cut happening the next morning from 9am onwards, there actually was a power outage that happened the same evening that we checked in. No power meant no water because the motor would not run without electricity. Which meant we could not have a shower, use the toilet or even wash our hands. 4. Host behavior : Extremely disappointed with how the host handled our queries. We reached out to her to inform of the power cut that happened the evening we checked in (around 6pm) during which there was no security at the property. Host's reply made us feel like power outages like this are common. When asked how long the outage might last, she responded saying "what can i do if there is no power. there is no power in my house either". Maybe keeping a torch in the room would have been a good thing to do. We were also not told about the power outage and water supply connection. The host could have atleast offered to bring in some water cans for us so that we could wash our hands atleast. A little empathy from the host could have gone a long way.
