Location, hospitality of the partners and the care taker family was excellent. Really njoyed staying at Bastar greens. Plan to visit again!

Hot water for bath could be made little better

We liked the place very much. The place had a rural touch. Perfect place for relaxation with family and friends. The owner and the staff was very cooperative. They provide one to one attention. Service was excellent.

Food was nice but options were limited.

No provision for nonveg food

Perfect place for a retreat-like get away. Peace and quiet surrounded by greenery and illuminated beautifully at night. Only a few rooms available at the place so it feels quite cozy. The staff wait on you for whatever you need and are very friendly. We even ordered the types of meals we wanted and they prepared them especially for us. The meals were great - 2-3 veg dishes with rice and roti and tea - free refills on everything. The rooms are really quite incredible - just like the pictures. Stone floors and tons of space. Comfortable beds. The owners really take pride in making it a special place.

The rooms do not have air conditioning, but they do have two high speed fans, so there was lots of circulation but at times felt warm. There is very limited wifi at the resort - none in the room we had, and sometimes you could find a place to stand that had two bars. That said, this isn't a place to go to work, just to retreat. There seemed to be some confusion as to when the staff would clean the room and what the cleaning would entail, and whether bottled water was complimentary or not. Most staff do not speak english, so you need to contact the owner if you have questions - but he will give his personal number as he isn't always on site. Thankfully we had local friends with us who did most of the communicating. And there are mosquitos, tho they do try and limit them with lemongrass plants and liquid in the rooms.
