LE MURANO LUXURY LAGOON

The location

There was no bedding provided for the 2nd bed. Curtains for the main large wall of windows were tore down. The electricity went out 4 times during our 2 night stay which was very annoying as the hall light to the steep stairway to get down to the fuse box was pitch black. Felt very dangerous and a liability if someone were to fall down the stairs. The owner of the place refused to provide a blanket to keep my daughter warm. She was using the 2nd bed. Every place we stayed throughout our 2 week 5 city trip always provided extra bedding in case we needed it. The description of the unit stated that it was 1300 sq ft?! That was not true! It was barely 300 to 400 square ft ! It was tiny and that was not what we paid for! It was not worth the price we paid for the stay. The owner was not available to give our passport pictures to nor was she available to pay the city tax after asking twice to pay it. She then contacted me numerous times by text asking for the money. I offered to send it to her via bank transfer Zelle or by mail but she would not provide me with the information.

Our stay at this apartment exceeded all expectations. The spacious, newly renovated with a lot of features of decor made of Murano glass, created a proper atmosphere for us. A fully equipped kitchen (dishes, forks, glasses, a pan, even a capsule Nespresso machine) was also a great value to us, as we were cooking at home. There is also a balcony in the appartments, as well as a large common terrace featuring a jacuzzi. Unfortunately we didn't try it, because of weather conditions, but next time we'll sure do it :) Despite our late arrival, the host Valerie warmly welcomed us and even escorted us from the ferry station we came to (which is a 1 min walk from). A bottle of water and prosecco was also waiting for us in the fridge :) Situated in a quiet district we spend one evening by walking through the walkways of Murano, which was pretty good experience, as there are no crowds of tourists, but the views are still awesome. Highly recommend.

The decor in this place is lovely, it’s very modern with great appliances! We were welcomed warmly off of the Vaparetto and shown to the apartment only a 2 minute walk away.
