Horseshoe Cottage historic gem near Snowdonia.

La maison est confortable, la vue est magnifique, c'est très calme et on a pu profiter des œufs frais.

L'annonce informe qu'il y a une machine à laver. Elle n'est pas dans la maison mais on a accès à la laverie pour 5£ pour un lavage, ce serait bien que ce soit précisé.

Superb hosts took time to explain everything to us, including all about the local area.

We have just spent a week at Horseshoe Cottage and had a fantastic holiday. The cottage was ideal, very homely, clean and very well equipped. Geoff and Julie were fantastic hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and gave advice on places to visit and where to eat. Julie recommended a fabulous coastal walk just a short drive away which was fantastic and with breathtaking views! The hot tub was very welcome after a long day of walking and the perfect end to the day. I would highly recommend this accommodation, the location is fantastic and this holiday home was superb. Thanks to you both, we hope to come back soon.

Wonderful hosts, lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, great location, super Hot Tub and outside area.

Let down by three things - very small fridge with tiny freezer compartment (a full size fridge freezer would be a better addition where the bookcase is), the furniture arrangement in the lounge - two very low sofas, difficult to get on and off and facing each other and not towards the TV which was mounted far too high up the wall making it very uncomfortable to watch for more than a few minutes and the lack of sound insulation on the adjoining wall to the neighbouring cottage - in bed could literally hear every word of their conversation / music / TV making it impossible to sleep until they did (at 1:30am).

Where do we start? Geoff and Julie are wonderful hosts and the cottage was one the best equipped we have ever stayed in. From opening the door we were enthralled - yes we had read reviews - but it exceed our expectations. The table was beautifully laid for dinner, but we ate outside enjoying the view of the fields to the sea and the Isle of Anglesey a perfect start to a perfect week's holiday. The cottage was spotlessly clean, had everything one could need, it's quiet and peaceful with nice gentle walks from the door. Although we came prepared we didn't use the hot-tube to our shame! Geoff and Julie were simply great, excellent hosts, there if you needed them without being intrusive. If you are not sure where to shop, visit or eat out, then just ask. We took their advance and thoroughly enjoyed our visits and meals out. We would recommend a holiday in Horseshoe Cottage without hesitation whatsoever. If we had to describe the cottage in one word we would use "exemplar".

What a cute cottage to have stayed at! Absolutely beautiful location with a tranquil setting. The outside area was very tidy with a hot tub and fire pit area. Inside was very homely and had everything you could require to cook and serve meals. Bedrooms had plenty of storage with an en-suite in both bedrooms. I personally slept very well. Grounds were well maintained with a lovely stroll route. Parking was available, and there were plenty of options for activities locally with Caernarfon a short travel away. Snowdonia range was a reachable distance, but there were lots of walks locally also. Both Geoff and Julie were fabulous hosts and gave us some history of the facility on arrival. Free range eggs available too! Will definitely return :)

Having to leave and return to reality of work!

Julie and Geoff were very welcoming and super friendly. Julie showed us round and explained everything. She gave us ideas on where we might visit. Great location and we'll definitely be going back.

The location was stunning, surrounded by countryside and beautiful views. The outdoor facilities were amazing, the cottage was well equipped, very clean and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We loved using the outdoor fire and hot tub and had an amazing view across Anglesey. We also used the bbq which was gas and was very easy to use.

Not much to be honest. The internet could do with some improving as the tv kept freezing and i couldn't find a colander or sieve. But that was it !
