NOTHING TO HATE, JUST THE ROAD TO ENTER THE HOMESTAY NEED TO BE FIXED.

We love the place! It has really nice landscaping with a view of Mount Kinabalu, cool weather, and located very strategically near Hoga cafe. Mr. Vincent (owner) was really generous to let my kids sample the huge mulberries grown on site and also our first time trying Tarap fruit..it was delicious! My girl still missed her best doggy fren she met there, Bosco( a sweet senior dog)...we missed you! Thanks Mr.Vincent for your great hospitality! :)

Excellent location, not to far away from the main road and very reasonably accessible to normal cars despite the climb up the hill. The proprietor is very friendly and accommodating, every request we had was fulfilled to satisfaction. The rooms were cozy and very clean. Facilities in the house was properly maintained and adequate for our purposes. The view was simply spectacular and we had 360 view, from the tops of Mount Kinabalu to the vast expanse of Kundasang Valley and beyond.

The wifi signal was a bit weak but not a deal breaker at all. 4G signal is still excellent so we are not without connection to the outside world.

We got AmanLo at rm417. We think it's a bit expensive for 2 rooms since 1 of the rooms is like a combination of living room n a single bedroom. The kitchen is outside the room. At the stairs before reaching the main door to the house. Cannot see mount kinabalu view from the balcony but the view from the balcony is peaceful. One more thing, they mention that the homestay is on the ground floor but didn't mention that we have to use stairs to get there. But it's not a big deal cause their staff help us with our stuff. Overall we are happy with our short staycation at AmanLo
